Tex Club Tec
TEXCLUBTEC is the Italian association with the priority aim of promoting the development of high-tech and innovative textiles and fostering greater awareness of this particular category of product.
TEXCLUBTEC includes a broad cross section of manufacturers, representative bodies and users who all share a similar interest in this sector. TEXCLUBTEC welcomes textile and non-textile trade associations, companies representing the entire technical textiles chain (from machinery to fibres, yarns, cords, nets, fabrics, nonwovens, coated, chemical treatments, finishing, end-uses), research centres and laboratories.
TEXCLUBTEC intends to assist member companies' actions technically, to promote their production and to spread knowledge about technical and innovative textiles at all levels.
TEXCLUBTEC membership fosters:
- Synergies among all those operating in this field
- Contacts with institutions, customers and potential users in Italy and abroad as well as with European and International associations and key authorities (CEN, Euratex, IFAI)
- Promotion through participation at fairs in Italy and abroad, conferences, press
TEXCLUBTEC has created a network of services:
- Internet newsletter containing information on technical issues and opportunities relative to the industry pertaining to the specific sector it covers (textiles for agriculture and the building industry, interiors, fashion and footwear, transportation, geosynthetics, protective and medical textiles, textiles for industry, packaging, environment, sport)
- Market analysis
- Documentation centre concerning standards, regulations, new products and technologies
- Press review
- Participation to research projects
- Promotion. Commercial mission and fairs
- Publication of studies on specific topics (i.e. antibacterial textile, Personal Protective Equipment, CE marking, Building products, anti UV Textiles, textiles for footwear, metal fibres, coated, etc...)
- Conferences focusing on specialized or more generic subjects regarding the technical textile sector
- Training courses
- Facilitations on fire testing with some Italian laboratories
